AMHERST, MA - The Amherst College Volleyball team fell to NESCAC rival Colby College 3-1 (26-30, 30-23, 30-26, 30-27), but rebounded to blank Bowdoin College 3-0 (30-21, 30-12, 30-24) at a NESCAC quad hosted by Amherst on Saturday. The Jeffs finished the regular season 24-7 (7-3 NESCAC), earned the No. 4 Seed in the NESCAC Postseason Tournament and qualified for their 11th-consecutive postseason.

Amherst jumped out to a 1-0 lead on Colby, but dropped three close matches to the White Mules, which improved to 21-8 (8-2 NESCAC) with the win. Bowdoin fell to 13-16 (3-7 NESCAC) with the loss.

Amherst returns to action next Friday and Saturday at the NESCAC Postseason Tournament at a location to be determined.
