AMHERST, MA - The Mammoths came off a resounding 3-0 win against Wellesley College on Friday and were set for another matchup with Westfield State on Saturday in Lefrak Gymnasium. Amherst won 3-0 in the two teams' first match this season and saw the same result this time around as the Mammoths won in straight sets, 3-0. Amherst moves to 13-3 and 5-3 in the NESCAC. Westfield State drops to 6-19 and 5-1 in the MASCAC.

Amherst dominated the tilt from the start as they won all three sets easily (25-16, 25-11, 25-18). The Mammoths were led by
Jamie Dailey'22 E who recorded 15 kills and 15 digs and
Caroline Tilton'23 and
Anaya Thomas'25 who contributed seven kills each.

Jacqueline Kortekaas'23 chipped in 16 assists to lead the Mammoths. Shawna Crowley led the Westfield State Owls with five kills and Ashley Crowley finished the match with three kills.

The Mammoths look forward to a mid-week meeting with UMass Boston on October 26th at 7PM in the Clark Athletic Center in Boston, MA.
