Ray Hou slid the puck to Flynn in the slot and hs quick wrister was saved, but the rebound went directly to Bobby Luca, unmarked at the left of the goal and he buried his shot into the top left corner of the net to tie things, 1-1, with 3:44 remaining in the period.

* Bowdoin went on the power play with inside of two minutes remaining in the second stanza, but in the closing seconds, some alert forechecking by Luca led to the go-ahead goal. Luca chased down a Polr Bear defender and the puck in the right corner, winning possession. He fired the uck to Josh Burke and Bruke's shot found the net with 12.2 seconds on the clock for a short-handed tally and a 2-1 Amherst lead.
