SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Senior
Jaden Olson won four events as the Amherst College men's swimming and diving team remained undefeated in dual meets this season with a 221-36 win over Union College on Saturday afternoon at Union's Alumni Gym Pool.
The Mammoths won every event on the program to improve to 4-0 in scored dual meets this season, while the Garnet Chargers remained winless at 0-5.
The Mammoths return to action on Saturday, Jan. 11, hosting archrival Williams, ranked 14th in the nation in the latest CSCAA Division III poll, for a 1 p.m. dual meet that will decide the Little Three Championship.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS:

Ethan Van De Water touched the wall first in 1:35.22, setting the tone for a successful day in the pool.
* Olson also took first in the 100-yard freestyle, clocking in at 48.52 seconds, as well as the 50-yard butterfly, where he touched in 23.32 seconds.
* Yuen led an Amherst podium sweep in the 50-yard backstroke, touching in 24.92 seconds for his second win of the season in the event.
* Senior
Tor Metelmann swept the breaststroke events, winning the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 27.20 seconds and taking first in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:11.51.
* First-year
Teddy Sun excelled in the mid-distance races, leading an Amherst podium sweep in the 200-yard butterfly in 1:56.82 and capturing the 200-yard individual medley in 1:59.19 in his first collegiate start in the event.
* Senior
Andrew Bernstein led an Amherst sweep of the top four spots in the 50-yard freestyle, claiming first place with a time of 22.30 seconds.
* First-year
Jack Goepfrich secured a win in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:45.11 as the Mammoths claimed the top four places in the event.

Charlie McMillan captured his first collegiate victory with a win in the 500-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 5:00.31 as the Mammoths took the top three spots.

Gabriele Lunardi led the charge in the 1000-yard freestyle, finishing first in 9:45.40 to lead an Amherst podium sweep.

Jonah Luetke paced the Mammoths in the 200-yard backstroke, capturing first place with a time of 2:00.58 to lead an Amherst podium sweep.
