AMHERST, Mass. - Carol Knerr's 2025 field hockey team has been awarded one of 10 at-large berths into the Div. III NCAA Tournament and will make its first appearance in the big dance since the 2011 season. 

It will be the sixth NCAA appearance overall for Amherst (8-8), which heads to Hoboken, N.J. to taken on Stevens (18-2) in a first-round match-up Wednesday at 5 p.m.

The winner of Wednesday's game earns a trip to Lewiston, Maine to take on NESCAC champion Bates on Saturday. 

The Mammoths were one of eight NESCAC teams to qualify for the 28-team NCAA Tournament Field.
