HADLEY, Mass. -- Amherst College senior forward Ryker Vance (Naples, FL) has been chosen as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for play ending Sunday, Feb. 16th. 

Vance averaged 15.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting 58 percent from the floor to lead the Mammoths to two critical wins to qualify for the NESCAC Tournament. In a 75-51 win over Williams, Vance tied his season-high with 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for a double-double. In a 75-67 win over Middlebury the night before, Vance scored 13 points and notched six rebounds.
