MEDFORD, Mass. -- Junior 
Piper Lentz established a new program record in the 600m leading the Amherst women's track and field team to 18 new qualifying standards for the New England Division III Championships on the second day of the Tufts Cupid Challenge. 
Lentz broke the 20-year old 600m record of 1:36.19 set by Ginger Polich in 2005, setting the new standard to 1:35.46. This will mark Lentz's first individual school record in addition to being a member of the record-holding indoor 4x800m relay team as well. 
Amherst will split competition between the Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University (9 a.m.) and the Tufts Invitational (10 a.m.) on Saturday, February 15. 
MEET HIGHLIGHTS:
* In the 60m, sophomore 
Rachel Hubley placed fourth overall recording a time of 7.95 while sophomore 
Camilla Lash finished in fifth with a time of 8.01. 
* Lentz's program record in the 600m was the fastest in the field while sophomore 
Zoë Marcus produced a third-place finish in 1:37.93. 
* Senior 
Julia Schor finished second overall in the 800m registering a time of 2:15.10.
* In the 1000m, junior 
Isabella Lozier placed second notching a time of 3:04.84. 
* Stephenson won the mile clocking in a time of 5:05.34. 
* The Mammoths went three-four-five in the 3000m as first-year 
Flora Biro, senior 
Sylvan Wold, and first-year 
Addison McGoey delivered times of 9:55.84, 10:06.47, and 10:13.45, respectively. 
* After winning the preliminary round of the 60m hurdles McGowan won the overall event posting a winning time of 9.31.
* In the 4x400m relay, the team of Lentz, Marcus, Zielinski, Adhikari finished in second recording a time of 4:09.07 while the team of 
Casie Eifrig, Schor, 
Myeh Medina, and Lash placed third in 4:09.30.
* First-year 
Katie Oliver finished third in the long jump with a mark of 5.38m while classmate 
Sophia Ford placed fourth with a jump of 5.18m.
* In the triple jump, Ford placed third posting a jump of 10.61m.
