#13 Amherst Dominates Skidmore 7-0 to Begin Spring Season

Box Score LUDLOW, MA – The 13th-ranked Amherst College men's tennis team launched their 2025 spring season in emphatic fashion, rolling past the Skidmore College Thoroughbreads with a flawless 9-0 victory at the Ludlow Tennis Center. Facing a non-conference opponent in their season opener, the Mammoths delivered a statement performance, sweeping the three doubles to win the doubles point, before winning all six singles matches in straight sets.

Up Next: Amherst's moves to 1-0 for the season and builds early momentum heading into their next matchup. The Mammoths will now turn their attention to their first NESCAC and Little 3 battle of the spring season next weekend, as they face the #7 Williams College Ephs on Saturday at 1 PM ET. The match will take place at the Bennington Tennis Center in Vermont, where Amherst will look to extend their winning start.
