AMHERST, MA – The #13 Amherst College men's tennis team continued their strong form with a commanding 6–1 victory over NESCAC rival Trinity College on Saturday afternoon. Playing at home for the first time since their spring break trip to California, the Mammoths swept doubles and dominated singles play to secure the win at the Ludlow Tennis Center.

Up Next: With the win, Amherst improves to 9–3 on the season and 2–1 in NESCAC play. The Mammoths are back in action tomorrow for a top-25 NESCAC showdown against the #24 Wesleyan University. The Cardinals will host Amherst at 2 PM on the John Wood Memorial Tennis Courts (weather permitting) or inside the Bacon Field House.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Amherst swept all three doubles matches, with sophomore duo Andreas Sillaste and Spencer Leung leading the charge at the top spot.
• Senior Sujit Chepuri outlasted his opponent  for a comeback three-set win.
• Junior George Chaidemenos extended his unbeaten streak to 7-0 with a 6-3, 6-1 win at #6.
