Five Mammoths Selected IWLCA All-Berkshire Region

AMHERST, MA – Five Mammoths were named the to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Berkshire Region team when the selections were announced today. Senior defender Brynn Korpi (Rye Brook, N.Y.), sophomore midfielder Mia Raven (Philadelphia, Pa.) and junior attackers Emily Petersen (Mountain Lakes, N.J.) and Bridget Finely (Bronxville, N.Y.) were named to the First Team. Sophomore defender/midfielder Ella Bobbett (Skaneateles, N.Y.) was honored with a Second Team selection. 
 
Korpi brings in yet another accolade with her third All-Region award. A perennial starter and lockdown defender for the Mammoths since her second year, she had the best season of her career this year. The New York native notched 24 caused turnovers and picked up 33 ground balls this year, both career highs, while also scoring once: a coast-to-coast effort against Bowdoin. The Mammoths' captain was also named a USA Lacrosse Third Team All-American and First Team All-NESCAC selection this year, with more honors sure to come.
 
Petersen earns her first All-America selection after a breakout junior season. The Mammoths' captain netted in every game this season, recording a team- and career-high 47 goals, including three game winners and two game-tying goals in the final ten seconds of games. She also dished out nine assists and placed third on the team with 51 draw controls this season. So far, she has been honored with USA Lacrosse All-America Honorable Mention and First Team All-NESCAC selections in 2025.
 
Raven earns her second All-Berkshire Region award with her First Team selection this year. The 2024 Second Teamer followed up a breakout freshman campaign with another great year, controlling a team-high 82 draws while also ranking second in ground balls with 25, and caused turnovers with 19. She also earned USA Lacrosse All-America Honorable Mention and First Team All-NESCAC nods this season.
 
Finley gets her second All-Region nod after being the Mammoths second-leading scorer in 2025 and hitting the 40-goal mark for the first time in her career. She also posted an insane .494 shot percentage, scoring on 40 of the 81 shots she took this season, with three of those being game winners and four while a woman up. The junior goal-scorer has also earned Second Team All-NESCAC honors this year, and an IWLCA All-Region Second Team selection in 2023.
 
Bobbett earns her first All-Region award with her 2025 Second Team selection. The versatile sophomore played both defense and midfield for the Mammoths this season, starting in all 17 games. She finished the year in the top five on the team in both caused turnovers (fifth, 15) and ground balls (third, 15) and will be a fixture on the Amherst defense in the coming years.
 
Amherst finished the 2025 season at 11-6, their best record since 2019, and hosted a NESCAC Quarterfinal and NCAA Tournament game for the first time in six years.
