Amherst posts top-10 GPAs in Division III, 12 Mammoths honored as Scholar All-Americans

RICHMOND, Va. – The Amherst College swimming and diving teams each posted grade point averages among the top 10 in Division III, earning Scholar All-America Team honors from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), while 12 Mammoths were honored individually as Scholar All-Americans.

Amherst's men's and women's teams each won the Scholar All-America Team recognition for posting a grade-point average of at least 3.0 as a team during the spring semester. The women's team posted a GPA of 3.83, best in the NESCAC and tied for fourth in all of Division III. The men's team notched a 3.74 GPA, also best in the NESCAC and tied for 10th in Division III.

Individuals were honored as Scholar All-Americans by posting at least a 3.5 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year and achieving the NCAA B time standard or qualifying for a regional diving championship. Swimmers and divers who competed at the NCAA Championships earned First Team Scholar All-America recognition.
