Thomas Zhang fired a 3-under 68 Sunday, leading the Amherst College men's golf team to the 2025 Duke Nelson Invitational title.
Collectively, the Mammoths shot a 3-over 287 Sunday at Middlebury's Ralph Myhre Golf Club, allowing them to pass Babson, who led by a stroke over Amherst at the conclusion of Saturday's first round.Â

Zhang and sophomore Jan Ebbinage finished in a four-way tie on the individual scoreboard, six strokes behind Jack Barry of Babson, the tournament's individual champion.Â
Zhang's 3-under 68 in Sunday's final round was punctuated by seven birdies. He finished with a two-day total of 144, 2-over par. Ebbinage also finished with a two-day total of 144 after firing a 1-under 70 in the first round. Sunday, he birdied four holes en route to a 3-over 74. Ebbinage had an amazing 14 pars during his Saturday round.
Mark Vitals finished in a six-way tie for 8th place overall with a 1-over par 72Â on Sunday.Â
Paari Kaviyarasu shot a 2-over 73 Sunday and finished 9-over for the 36-hole tournament, placing 22nd overall.Â
There were 20 teams which took part. Amherst bested Babson by four strokes for the championship.Â
