AMHERST, MA — The #7 Amherst College women's squash team continued its outstanding season with a 6–3 win over #13 Middlebury on Sunday at Davenport Squash Courts. Amherst controlled the top and bottom of the ladder, winning matches at positions 1, 3, and 5–9 to extend its overall record to 14–1 and remain perfect in conference play at 9–0.
The victory also pushed the Mammoths' win streak to nine matches. Sunday's victory over the Panthers marked Amherst's third straight win against the NESCAC foe, following two victories during the 2024–25 season. Amherst now stands as the second-highest ranked NESCAC team nationally, just behind #6 Trinity.

At the top of the lineup, junior
Quincy Cline delivered a strong 26-minute performance at #1 singles, defeating Lindsey Burnham 3–0 (11–9, 11–5, 11–6).
At #8 singles, sophomore
Brigid Brandon recorded the fastest win of the day, overpowering Caroline Didden 3–0 (11–3, 11–1, 11–9) in just 16 minutes. Didden mounted a push in the third, narrowing the scoreline, but Brandon answered with a string of quick, decisive points to shut the door and clinch the match for the Mammoths.
