AMHERST, MA. – Senior attack Bridget Finley (Bronxville, N.Y.) has been named the NESCAC of the Week for women's lacrosse, as announced by the conference earlier this afternoon.
 
Finley paced the Amherst offense in the team's 14-13 overtime win over No. 2 Tufts, netting a game-leading five times. The senior scored twice during the Mammoths' fourth quarter comeback, including the game-tying goal with 4 seconds remaining in regulation, to help the team rally from five goals down to force OT. She also went 2-for-2 on free position opportunities during the contest.
 
Finley and the Mammoths will return to Pratt Field in just 24 hours, taking on local foe Smith College in their first non-conference matchup of the season. They will look to extend their season-opening win streak to three games, with the contest versus the Bears scheduled for 6 p.m.
