Biography

As a Junior:

  • Appeared in 12 games, starting all but one. 

  • Averaged 5 points per game and 2.6 rebounds per game.

  • Scored a career high 19 points against Bates (Jan. 14).

 

As a Sophomore:

  • All-NESCAC Academic honors.

  • Appeared in 18 games for the Mammoths, making one start. 

  • Averaged 4.6 points per game and 2.4 rebounds per game.

  • Went 20-27 on free throws, posting a 0.741 success rate. 

  • Scored a season high 15 points against Colby-Sawyer (Nov. 17).

 

As a First-Year:

  • Season canceled due to COVID-19.

 

Before Amherst:

  • Played basketball at the University of Chicago Laboratory School with a post-graduate year at New Hampton.

  • Twice earned ISL MVP.

  • Led scoring on his team for two seasons.

 

Personal:

  • Parents are Kemi and Tunji Alausa.

  • Has two siblings, Maryam and Jameel.
