Before Amherst:

  • Played varsity ice hockey for three years, serving as captain for one year.

  • Played varsity soccer for two years.

  • Played varsity lacrosse for two years.

  • Helped the Landon team to the IAC Soccer Championship in 2021.

  • Led his team to the IAC Hockey Championship and the MAPHL Hockey Championship in 2020. 

  • Played club ice hockey for the Montgomery Blue Devils and Team Maryland.

  • Also played club lacrosse for DC Express.

  • Major is undecided.

  • Parents are Lorna Timmreck and David Smink.

  • Has two siblings, Arthur and Eli.

  • Father also played ice hockey for Amherst.

  • Mother played soccer at the University of Pennsylvania.

  • Uncle also played ice hockey for Amherst College, still standing as the all-time leading scorer in the program’s history.

  • Aunt played field hockey and lacrosse at Amherst.
