Kayla Madden joined the staff of the Amherst College women's basketball program in the fall of 2024.
Madden played basketball at Springfield College for 3 years, missing her last season due to an injury. She graduated from Springfield College in 2024, majoring in physical education while minoring in coaching. Currently, Madden is pursuing a master's degree in athletic leadership at Springfield College. Her coaching experience includes private sessions, youth camps, and AAU coaching experience.
As an athlete, Madden was a member of Springfield College's Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT), attended Black Student Athlete Leadership Summit, NCAA Leadership Forum, and NCAA Inclusion Forum / Student Athlete Symposium.
