Biography

As a First-Year:

  • Appeared in 25 games in her rookie season.

  • Recorded eight goals, with her first collegiate goal against Johnson & Wales.

  • Also notched 12 assists and two game-winning goals. 

 

Before Amherst:

  • Played varsity ice hockey for four years, serving two years as captain.

  • Also played varsity lacrosse for three years and varsity field hockey for one year.

  • Selected for the New Hampshire Prep School All-State Team in 2018 and 2019.

  • Won the U19 Championship for the 2018-2019 season.

  • Played for the Tier 1 Boston Jr. Eagles from 2018 to 2021.

 

Personal:

  • Neuroscience and Computer Science double major.

  • Parents are Yan Zhuang and Wilson Xu. 

  • Has one sibling, Andrew.

  • President of Amnesty International at Amherst College.

  • Member of Professor Trapani’s lab team.

  • Participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Neuroscience at Amherst.
