Nate Cash was been named the assistant director of athletics for facilities in July of 2024. Cash joined Amherst from a similar role at Centre College.
Cash was named Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations at Centre College in September 2020, joined the Centre athletics department in 2017, and has seen his role grow throughout the years.
He began as the Athletic Facilities and Operations Assistant, helping to maintain Centre's indoor and outdoor facilities.
In 2019, he was promoted to Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities and Operations, and has taken a more direct role in overseeing the game day management of Centre's home events. He has served as tournament director for a handful of Southern Athletic Association and NCAA tournaments hosted by the Colonels.
Cash graduated from Roanoke College in 2016 with a B.S. in sport management. Upon graduating he went on to work as an athletic facilities and events intern at UMBC from August 2016-February 2017.
