Maine swing begins with #22 Bowdoin earning 6-3 win over #17 Amherst

BRUNSWICK, Maine – In the first of a three-day swing though Maine for the Mammoths, 22nd-ranked Bowdoin College captured a 6-3 win over the Amherst College men's squash team on Tuesday afternoon at the Lubin Family Squash Center.

The Mammoths (2-3), ranked 17th in the nation in the latest CSA rankings, got wins from junior Adam Lichtmacher at #3, sophomore Yeshwin Sankuratri at #7 and senior captain Andrew Leung at #9. The Polar Bears (1-3) were led by Jack Winston and Deven Kanwal at the top of the lineup.

Amherst is back in action on Wednesday (Jan. 12), visiting fellow NESCAC foe Colby at 6 p.m.
