NEW LONDON, CT — The Amherst College men's squash team had a second consecutive 9-0 sweep on Saturday when they faced Connecticut College in their second dual-match of the 2025-2026 season. The match was the first away match for the Mammoths as they traveled to New London to face the NESCAC opponent, Camels. Performance from Amherst was strong today as they won 27/28 sets.
The Mammoths are currently standing as the #19 team in the nation, and the Connecticut College Camels are at #28, so a 9-0 sweep is an impressive feat.

Gabe Yu, who had the longest match in the last dual-match against Hamilton College (1h 8 min), had the quickest match on Saturday with a 3-0 (11-6, 11-7, 11-9) win over Andrew Nemphos at the #5 spot that only lasted 16 minutes.

Robert Avram, at the #9 spot, only lost 4 points in three sets in a 11-1, 11-0, 11-3 victory against Josiah Rondon that lasted 19 minutes.

The Mammoths won 27 out of 28 sets. Only set lost was in the #1 spot.
