AMHERST, Mass. – On a day in which the Mammoths honored their senior class, it was a first-year stealing the spotlight. Maeve Kelley set a new school record in the 1650-yard freestyle as the Amherst College women's swimming and diving team closed out their home schedule with a 204-90 win over NESCAC rival Connecticut College on Saturday afternoon at Pratt Pool.

The Mammoths improved to 4-1 in dual meets this season while the Camels fell to 3-5.

Amherst's five seniors – Sabrina Comess, Lauren Eng, Caitlin Knight, Emma Lee and Grace Walker – were honored before their final meet at Pratt Pool.

Amherst returns to the water next Saturday (Feb. 3), visiting reigning NEWMAC champion MIT for a 1 p.m. meet.
