Amherst fell to 2-3 on the season while the Cougars improved to 7-2. Next up for the Mammoths is a spring trip to Florida. They open vs. Endicott Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Lake Myrtle Complex in Auburndale, Florida.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

Charlie LaFreniere then drew a walk and McIntyre followed with a double down the right-field line that scored his teammate as he took third on the throw. Tyler McCord's grounder than resulted in an error that allowed McIntyre to score for a 4-0 lead.
