GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
* Amherst took a 1-0 lead at the 12:47 mark in the first period.
Bobby Luca controlled a puck at center ice, spun, and backhanded a bounce pass off the boards that
Ryan Corcoran pick up in stride as he skated into the Camels' zone. Corcoran carried the puck to the bottom of the right face-off circle and fired a shot that was saved. However, the rebound went directly to Mammoth

* The Mammoths made it 2-0 just 90 seconds before the first frame came to its conclusion.
Ryan Tucker intercepted a pass in the neutral zone and used his speed to create a 2-on-1 with teammate
Tyler Bourque. Streaking down the left side of the Conn. zone, he slid a pass over to Bourque near the far right post and Bourque was able to slide a forehand into the right side of the goal for the two-score advantage.
* Only 24 seconds into the second stanza, Tucker made his impact felt again. He picked up control of the puck in his own zone, skated across the blue line, and hit teammate
Michael Pitts with a pass to his right. Pitts skated into the Camels' zone and flipped a backhand pass into the slot where Tucker was crashing the goal. Tucker one-touched the bouncing puck to his stick and quickly flipped a shot into the goal for a 3-0 lead.
* With 4:40 to go in the second period, Lichman made it 4-0 with his first career score for the Mammoths.
