#15 Amherst continue perfect 2025 record with 9-0 sweep at #24 Franklin and Marshall

LANCASTER, PA — The #15 Amherst College women's squash team continued their strong start to 2025 with their third consecutive victory since Wednesday. Without dropping a set, the Mammoths eased past the #24 Franklin and Marshall College Diplomats today on the Mayser Squash Courts without dropping a match, less than 24 hour after beating the #13 Georgetown University Hoyas yesterday evening.

Up next: The Mammoths' three-match winning streak improves their current season record to 6-2 overall (3-0 in NESCAC matches). On Monday morning, Amherst will play their third and final away match of their Mid-Atlantic Round Robin. The #21 Dickinson College Red Devils will host the Mammoths on the squash courts in the Kline Fitness Center in Carlisle, PA at 11am ET. The Red Devils enter the match with a 7-6 season record.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:

Amherst dropped just one set in total throughout the afternoon.
Senior Isabelle Tilney-Sandberg and first-year Clara Dawn enjoyed the most comfortable victories, winning in 12 minutes and 10 minutes at the #8 and #9 spots, respectively.
Sophomore Yana Sharma remains unbeaten for the season with her third win of the season at the #7 spot.
