Nine Mammoths named ITA Scholar Athletes, Amherst named ITA All-Academic Team

GILBERT, Ariz. — The Amherst College women's tennis team was named an All-Academic Team by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and nine Mammoths were honored as ITA Scholar-Athletes.

The Mammoths earned the team award by posting a grade point average above 3.2 for the academic year. Individuals with a GPA of at least 3.5 earned ITA Scholar Athlete honors.

The Mammoths went 13-8 in the 2024-25 season and finished the year ranked 12th in the final ITA Division III rankings after reaching the round of 16 in the NCAA Division III Tournament for the fourth straight season.
