AMHERST, MA — The #14 Amherst College men's squash team suffered their second consecutive setback on Thursday against the #9 Dartmouth College. With three five-set matches, Amherst was able to prevail on court #2 where Roman Parisi came up on top. Grady Herbert was able to get another win for Amherst at the #8 spot with a 3-1 win over Warren Klein. Amherst fell short on all other courts, falling to the Big Green 7-2. This was Amherst's fifth home match, with Thursday's match being the only home loss. Amherst's record now stands at 5-2 (2-1 in NESCAC) ahead of five consecutive NESCAC matchups.

Roman Parisi won the longest match of the day in a five-set battle against Dartmouth's Arihant K S. After going down 1-2 in sets, Parisi won the last two to put Amherst on the board. The match lasted 67 minutes.

Grady Herbert won in the last match of the day. In a 57 minute battle, Herbert was able to avoid a fifth set and closed the match in the fourth.

While in Maine, the Mammoths will also face Colby on January 21st, and Bowdoin on January 22nd. After the three away matches, Amherst will return home to face rival Williams College on January 28th.
