LEWISTON, ME — The #13 Amherst College women's squash team continued their winning ways on Monday night, rolling past #24 Bates College with a 9–0 sweep on the road in Lewiston, extending their winning streak to three, and improving to 8–1 overall record and 4–0 in NESCAC play. With recent wins over Dartmouth and Tufts, Amherst came into the match very confidently, and showed that across the board from start to finish by not dropping a match on any court. The victory over Bates is a strong start for the upcoming NESCAC battles in Maine against Colby and Bowdoin.

Clara Dawn won the fastest on Monday in her 13-minute win at #8 singles, overcoming her Bates opponent Maeve Mufson with the score of 3–0 (11–0, 11–1, 11–2), losing only 3 points total.

Kanzy Elkaliuoby fought through a thrilling five-set battle at #3 singles against Bates' Scarlett Hine. The score against Hine was 3-2 (12-10, 5-11, 8-11, 11-5, 11-3). The match lasted for 36 minutes.
