WATERVILLE, ME — The #10 Amherst College women's squash team continued its strong form on Wednesday night, earning a 7–2 road win over #17 Colby College to extend their winning streak to four. Wednesday's match was Amherst's second win of their Maine trip after beating Bates on Monday night. The Mammoths are looking to go undefeated in Maine when they are facing Bowdoin on Thursday. Against Colby, Amherst swept their opponents on courts 4-9. The victory over the Mules improves the Mammoths' record to 9-1 overall and 5-0 in the NESCAC.

Fionnoula Brandon delivered the fastest win of the day for Amherst, wrapping up her match at #4 singles in just 18 minutes. Facing Colby's Margaret Motch, Brandon won in straight sets, 3–0 (11–4, 12–10, 11–2).

At #2 singles, Kanzy Elkaliuoby and Nathalie Sim battled in a five-set match at 2–2 (11–8, 3–11, 8–11, 11–8), before the match ended in Sim's retirement in the fifth at 6–1, giving Elkaliuoby the 3-2 win.
